Kimberly Martin, MS
Kim Martin has been a resident counselor at ABT since June of 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University and a Master’s in Counseling from Old Dominion University. She has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as crisis intervention services. She has experience with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues and grief/loss.
Kim primarily works from a CBT model in treatment but also uses solution focused, TF-CBT, play therapy and has training in DBT. Kim works with children, teenagers and adults. Kim’s goal is to meet each client where they are in life and walk with them while providing support and guidance to help them unlock their greatest potential.
