Whitney Artutis, MA
Whitney Artutis graduated with her Masters of Arts in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech in 2016. She is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Chad Wills and David Mortellaro. She has worked with children and families for 15 years and has extensive experience with foster families, adoption, and children involved in the child welfare system. She is passionate about hope, healing, and helping people rewrite their own stories. Whitney works with both adults and children. She focuses on developing a genuine relationship with clients, expressive arts techniques, and developing self-awareness. Areas of interest are: Women’s issues, marital/relationship problems, crisis counseling, trauma, anxiety, depression, work concerns, and general desire for growth and wellness. Whitney is a Virginia native, though she has traveled and lived around the world. She enjoys anything creative, gardening, exploring, and spending time with her family.
