Kimberly is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University, earned in 2011. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, she has had the privilege of working with clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Kimberly focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where adult clients feel both validated and empowered to grow. While she is in the early stages of specializing in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows her to support individuals to process trauma at a pace that feels right for them. Kimberly views therapy as a balance of support and challenge — encouraging clients to face difficulties head-on, rather than avoiding them.
Kimberly believes that curiosity and humor are just as vital to the therapeutic process and clinical expertise. Embracing life’s challenges with a touch of lightheartedness can open the door to meaningful progress and healing. Whether you’re working through complex emotional patterns or simply seeking guidance on your journey, Kimberly is here to help you move forward with confidence.
