Caroline completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling through Liberty University (2020) and is a Resident Counselor under David Mortellaro. She has experience working with a variety of populations including, but not limited to, individuals who have recently experienced crisis, those struggling to cope with anxiety and depression, and patients striving to develop their self-esteem and identity. She utilizes techniques from Cognititive Behavioral, Dialectal Behavior, and Solution Focused therapies along with Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness-based approaches to consider the individual from a holistic wellness perspective.

Specifically, Caroline believes that maximum growth is possible when you consider the whole person in light of their mental, physical, social, and spiritual components. She believes that mental health is a proactive, life-long journey that can be sparked through development of positive communication and coping skills, among other simple, daily changes.

Caroline will work with you through the counseling process to realize your own strengths, utilize them effectively for change, and easily recognize the progress you’ve made throughout each session, even when it is small.  She would be honored to help you pursue your growth potential through honest, and non-judgmental communication.
