Caroline completed her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling through Liberty University (2020) and is a Resident Counselor under David Mortellaro, LPC, LMFT. Caroline uses a whole-body, strengths-based, and values-oriented approach with her clients to develop a growth mindset.
Caroline is a Certified Trauma Professional and has formal training in the use of integrative medicine to affect mental health. In session, Caroline utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, and Solution Focused therapies along with Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness-based approaches. She has experience working with a variety of populations including, but not limited to, individuals who have recently experienced crises, those struggling to cope with anxiety and depression, and clients striving to develop their self-esteem and identity. She often works with clients to establish positive communication, boundaries, and coping skills, among other simple, daily changes, to develop self-confidence and resiliency.
Caroline will work with you to realize your own strengths, utilize them effectively for change, and easily recognize the progress you’ve made throughout each session, even when it is small. She would be honored to help you pursue your growth potential through an honest, and non-judgmental counseling relationship.
