Samantha Israel is a resident counselor who is also a Licensed BCBA and Special Education teacher.  She has over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents in school and clinical settings, specializing in the challenges associated with autism. In doing so, Samantha has worked with siblings and caregivers of children with severe special needs, helping family members cope with the grief, trauma, anxieties, and joys that go with caring for a loved one with disabilities and medical concerns.

Samantha sees every person as having unique strengths, sometimes yet to be discovered, and is empathetic to the concerns of those with whom she works. She wants to work collaboratively with clients to establish personal goals that will improve their lives and empower them to take charge of moving towards those goals.
